Welcome to Mudfix (“we”, “our”, or “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information when you use the Mudfix mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using Mudfix, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

• Account Information: name, phone number, profile image you upload.
• Location Data: approximate and precise location (when you grant permission) to show nearby jobs, update provider position, and provide directions.
• Booking Details: service type, description, offered price, scheduled date/time, pick-up address.
• Device & App Data: identifiers, app version, logs and diagnostics.
• Photos/Media: images you choose to upload (e.g., profile photo, request photos).
• Notifications Token: push token (if you enable notifications) to send you updates.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide and improve core features (matching requests, navigation, communications).
• Show nearby jobs and directions (including via Google Maps).
• Send service updates and alerts (push notifications).
• Safety, security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, and analytics.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. Sharing of Information

We share information in these cases:

• Between customers and providers: relevant request/booking details (e.g., service info, phone number if provided by the user, pick-up location) so the job can be completed.
• Service Providers/Vendors: trusted vendors to run the Service, such as:
  • Google Maps Platform (maps/directions/geocoding)
  • Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Cloud Messaging)
  • Expo services (builds, native modules, push notifications integration)
• Legal/Compliance: if required by law, safety, or to protect rights.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Location Data

We request Location permissions to enable nearby job discovery, live provider position, and routing. You can revoke location access at any time in your device settings. Some features may not work without it.

5. Photos & Media

We access photos only when you choose to upload an image (e.g., profile image or request images). You can revoke Photos permission in device settings.

6. Notifications

With your permission, we may send push notifications about requests, status changes, and updates. You can turn notifications off in the app or device settings.

7. Data Retention

We keep information as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request account deletion (see “Your Rights”). Some data may remain in backups or required records for a limited time.

8. Your Rights & Choices

• Access, correct, or delete your information (subject to legal allowances).
• Revoke permissions (Location, Photos, Notifications) in device settings.
• Uninstall the app to stop data collection from your device.
• Contact us to exercise your rights (see “Contact Us”).

9. Children

Mudfix is not intended for children under 13 (or the age required by local law). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. International Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own. We take steps to ensure appropriate protections for such transfers.

11. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we will notify you as required (e.g., in-app notice). Continued use of Mudfix means you accept the updated policy.
